Provence Wines Master Class

In partnership with Vins de Provence, the French Wine Society offers a Provence Wines Master-Level Program for North American wine professionals. This is the most comprehensive program of its kind in the U.S. Professionals who complete the course and pass the master-level exam will receive the Provence Master-Level Certificate. The program was launched in June 2009 with a train-the-trainer study trip to Provence. A 60-page self-study manual for wine professionals is available online, along with an online exam.

Study-Abroad Trip

The master-level instructor study abroad program in Provence is another part of the comprehensive education program offered by Vins de Provence in partnership with the French Wine Society. Intended for those who have attained the French Wine Scholar certification, it covers all aspects of the Provence region's viticulture and expects wine educators to sit for the Provence exam at the conclusion of the trip. Study abroad candidates must be recommended by their wine/culinary/hospitality school.
