Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Syrah

Bright, rose-petal pink in color. Once on the palate, it instantly unveils notes of red currant and spice. Delicate notes of English candies appear, heightened by a long, rich, fresh finish.  This is a lush, succulent rosé, but structured too.

Perfect for seafood, hot-stone cooking, simple grilled meats, and picnics, but also a comfortable companion for more elaborate Mediterranean cuisine. Perfect with stuffed Provençal vegetables.

After the best juices have been obtained by low-temperature bleeding or pressing, Château Calissanne rosé is vinified at 61°-64°F. To retain this wine's liveliness, the winemaker does not use malolactic fermentation.
