La Madrague
Côtes de Provence
40% Grenache, 45% Cinsault, 15% Syrah
Pale pink. A lovely fresh nose with berrylike aromas and notes of candy. Well rounded on the palate, full-bodied yet light, with berrylike notes.
This wine is best appreciated at a temperature of 43°-46°F, as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to grilled meats and Mediterranean dishes.
Grapes are harvested at night, in cooler temperatures, so the wine can be extremely pale and fruity; the harvest is done by machine.
Cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by pressing in a pneumatic press. Traditional alcoholic fermentation in a thermo-controlled stainless steel vat.
