Domaine de Fontlade
Côtes de Provence
Rolle (Vermentino), White Grenache
Elegant mix of apricot and pineapple with a delicate hint of pear. Fresh finish, surprisingly long.
Veal casserole, fish, foie gras, Roquefort cheese, goat cheese. Strawberries and cream.
Machine harvested in late September at an outside temperature not exceeding 50°F.
Made in Burgundy fashion. Pressed and made in recycled oak barrels on its own lees at cellar temperature. Stirred first daily, then weekly. Self-induced malolactic fermentation. Assembled, fined, and bottled in June 2012.
