Domaine de l'Amaurigue
Côtes de Provence
100% Rolle

This rare Provençal white wine is produced from 100% Rolle. Aged in French oak barrels, this Côtes de Provence white is full flavored and surprisingly complex. It offers hints of honeyed pear, spices, lemon, and a touch of vanilla. Light yellow in color, with a golden brilliance. (Also available with screw cap.)

A nice aperitif wine. Also an ideal partner for fish, chicken, or goat cheese. Serve chilled: 54°F.
Grapes are harvested at night by hand or by machine, depending on the age of the vines and the maturity of the grapes
The process includes a short skin maceration period to ensure typical flavor of the Rolle and slow, gentle pressing to extract only the best juices. The released juice is introduced directly into oak barrels, where fermentation takes place. The wine is aged for 10 months on fine lees in the same barrels.
